In 2020 Tanaye White decided to quit her job and participate in her first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model search. Since then, she has come out on top.

Tanaye White made her SI Swimsuit debut as a part of the 2020 model search. In 2020, Tanaye quit her job to pursue modeling full time, following her first SI Swimsuit model search, where she made it to the Top 16. Tanaye is an outspoken advocate for diversity and body positivity.

Tanaye White is brazen, goofy, and a bit of a geek. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Connecticut. In 2014, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland. Shortly after, she earned her Master’s in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from the esteemed Georgetown University.

The scholar led a full career as a Senior Communications Analyst for government agencies & international defense contractors. However, after successfully becoming a finalist in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 2020 model search, she transitioned her career path to modeling full-time.

Tanaye now balances life between Washington, D.C. and New York City as a signed model to ONE Model Management.

She also is a brand ambassador, leveraging her large YouTube and Instagram followings to share tips on fashion, fitness, and women’s empowerment. When she’s not modeling, she consults small businesses through her established digital marketing agency.

She is passionate about providing guidance to young women on how to live a spiritually-centred and empowered life.

She seeks to use her own life experiences as a resource to inspire women to find their voice and become the most unapologetic version of themselves.

Her hobbies include shopping for the best deals, perfecting her HTML/CSS skills, and searching for the most delicious seafood & donut shops in the D.C. region.
