The President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has wished Nigerians a happy new year.

He made the new-year address on Monday morning in a broadcast on the Nigerian Television Authority.

During the broadcast, the president addressed the discomfort faced by citizens as a result of the removal of fuel subsidies and changes to the foreign exchange system.

Social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan or VDM, has called out evangelist Ebuka Obi of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO) for allegedly locking up an innocent man for 40 days.

Nigerian musician Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, also known as Timaya, has slammed his social media handler, Bolaji Fadipe, for including him in Davido and Wizkid’s social media fight.

ASUU declares indefinite strike in Abuja

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), UNIABUJA chapter has begun an indefinite strike to draw attention to developments bordering the union.

According to Leadership, the union announced its decision to embark on the strike on Thursday at the end of its congress, held at the Permanent Site of the institution.

The Chairman of the branch, Dr. Sylvanus Ugoh, in an interview said that the union had resolved to embark on a total and an indefinite strike with immediate effect.
