Tinubu, Shettima coalition inaugurates Ondo executive members

The Asiwaju Tinubu-Shettima Coalition for Good Governance (ATSCGG) has inaugurated its executives in Akure, Ondo State, charging them to deliver the state for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The state executive members, drawn from the 18 local councils of the state, are also members of the 110 coalition groups that merged for Tinubu-Shettima ticket.

They are Olanrewaju Kazeem (State Co-ordinator), Ayo Agbonmuserin (State Deputy Co-ordinator)and Sylvester Ikuejamoye (State Secretary), among others.

The Federal Commissioner, National Salaries, Income and Wages Commission, Onibudo Wole Iroaye, said the swearing in of the new executives, marked a turning point politically in the state.

Iroaye described the new officers as “persons of proven integrity whose track records speak volumes.”

“Today’s event no doubt marks the beginning of good things that will happen to us as a unique political body in particular and as a great political party in general. We are on the threshold of a dazzling political venture.

“This is precisely the bottom-line that promoted the leadership of our coalition in the South-West to be here today to supervise this particular assignment,” he said.

The commissioner lauded the ATSCGG South-West Co-ordinator and former Ambassador to Republic of Togo, Sola Iji, for the strategic decision to galvanise support for the ruling party.

Iji charged the state executives to duplicate the political structure across the 18 local councils, 203 wards and 3,009 polling units of the state, urging them to ensure the victory of the Tinubu/Shettima joint ticket next year.

He also urged them not only to work for the victory of the presidential candidate but also for all the APC candidates from the state House of Assembly as well as the National Assembly, saying that it is a collective task for all party structures.

He, however, warned them to desist from any unguided competition with the party structure or action that would jeopardise the smooth operation of the ruling APC in the state.
