Toke Makinwa Drags Nigerians Who Age-shame Older Women

Media personality Toke Makinwa has a few words for Nigerians who age shame older women and constantly remind them that they are growing old. The OAP took to her Twitter page to share this and reminded them that growing old is inevitable.

She shared that Nigerians are quick to remind women of the many things they need to do achieve before hitting the age of 40 and they keep acting like it is a deadline. Toke reminded people who age shame that they will always hit the age they constantly talk about. The media girl mentioned that the concept of time is a reminder that everyone’s journey is different. She shared that the statement time is ticking puts people under a lot of unnecessary pressure.

Recall that a few weeks ago the OAP in a series of tweets opened up on how the last 2 months of the year were extremely tough for her but she pulled through and is trusting God to make the new month fulfilling for her.
