The reconciliation of the Channels TV reporter Pius Angbo and his wife Ifeanyiwa has been trailed by a backlash from the public and celebrities alike who have called out the governor for intervening and make the couple reconcile without Pius Angbo facing justice for assaulting and battering his Doctor wife. $\"Gov$

Some of the celebrities to have spoken against the reconciliation without any reprieve for Pius, including Toke Makinwa, Bolanle Olukanni, Latasha Ngwube, Marry Njoku and many more some of which were even male celebrities.

Dr Ifeanyiwa over the weekend called out Anglo for subjecting her to domestic violence for the six years that they have been married. $\"\"$

On Monday, December 7, Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, mediated in the matter and reconciled them.

Like some other Nigerians, these celebrities took to their social media handles to condemn the move. Bolanle was of the opinion that this will set a bad precedence.
