Dewy Oputa, the daughter of veteran musician, Charly Boy real name Charles Oputa has revealed the reason why she choose to be a lesbian.

Recall, that Charly Boy had caused a stir few weeks ago after he recounted how hard it was for him to accept that his favourite daughter is homosexual.

Dewy said that the question as to why she chose to be with a woman shouldn’t be asked in 2021, however, she revealed that she’s a lesbian because it’s her preference.

She said this during an interactive session with her followers on Instagram.

In her words;

“In 2021, this question shouldn’t be asked,

“Secondly, I don’t like being labelled because that puts me in a box because boxes make me uncomfortable, I identify as ‘Dewy’ because I am my own entity and I choose to be with a woman because that’s my preference.”
