West Ham Put Arsenal’s Title Hope ‘On The

West Ham have put Arsenal’s English Premier League title hope on the line following a 2-2 draw in their Sunday encounter at London Stadium.

Lifestyle Nigeria reports that it was quite an unexpected outcome for the Gunners who were leading with two goals as of the 10th minute of the game.

Things speedily turned around, after Saïd Benrahma’s penalty kick secured a goal for the host, and Jarrod Bowen levelled up for David Moyes’ men.

Meanwhile, Bukola Saka would have given the visiting team a lead, but he was unable to find the end of the goalpost after missing a penalty.

Mikel Arteta’s men are currently four points away from their closest rival, Manchester City, who are currently one game behind.

On the other hand, the defending Champions of the league are not relenting on their quest to secure the trophy for the third time in a row, as Pep Gaurdiola’s men showed no mercy to Leicester City on Saturday.

Manchester City defeated Leicester City 3-1, with the help of John Stones’ score, and Erling Haaland’s brace.

Meanwhile, Haaland has equalled Mohamed Salah’s 38-game season goalscoring record taking his total to 32 with eight games left.

With four points away from leading Arsenal, Gaurdiola’s men are looking forward to winning their outstanding game and defeating the Gunners in the encounter that will come up later this month. This will secure a more solid hope of the title for the Citizens.

In other news, Manchester United have regained their third sport after defeating Nottingham Forest two goals nil, courtesy of Anthony and Diogo Dalots’ goals.

Although the Red Devils are currently on 59 points, 15 points away from leading Arsenal, with 8 games, there seems to be no room for Erik Ten Hag’s men to win the title.

Meanwhile, it’s no longer news that Chelsea are encountering the worst season in a very long while as the Blues lost their weekend match again.

Despite leading with a goal, Brighton were quick to score an equaliser and eventually snatched the victory (1-2), at Stamford Bridge.

Nevertheless, the show continues for other teams as Leeds will take on Liverpool later today.

Nigeria’s women’s football team, the Super Falcons, have qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Lifestyle Nigeria reports that the team secured their spot after beating South Africa 1-0 on aggregate during the qualifiers.

Rasheedat Ajibade scored the winning goal from the spot during the first leg of the qualifiers held in Abuja on Friday.

This was enough to secure one of Africa’s tickets for the women’s football event of the Paris Olympics, as the second leg tie ended in a draw in South Africa.

It is worth noting that this is the first time Nigeria’s Super Falcons have qualified for the Olympics in 16 years.

The team has a rich history with South Africa, having played several times since their 7-1 win against South Africa in a 1995 World Cup qualifier in Johannesburg.

In a total of 24 matches, Nigeria has won 15 times, five ended in draws, and South Africa has claimed victory four times.

He retired from the NFL in 1979 and later gained fame in movies and television shows.

However, his popularity turned to infamy in 1994 when he was arrested as a suspect in the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman.

Despite DNA evidence linking him to the murders, he was acquitted, with his attorneys arguing that the allegation was fueled by racism.

Simpson was sentenced to 33 years in prison in 2008 for armed robbery, where he attempted to reclaim sports memorabilia he insisted had been stolen from him.
